I don’t think we could ever talk enough about the serious issue of physical and emotional abuse. I admire sites like yours (especially pages like this one: – that are giving people a safe, welcoming place to talk about it, and I’m in awe of the brave individuals who have come forward to talk about their experiences in an effort to inspire change (although I absolutely understand why many don’t).

Anyway, I have a small site that I tinker with in my spare time that discusses how people can feel safe and protected in their own homes, and it occurred to me – this is so much easier said than done for anyone who has ever suffered some form of abuse. It inspired me to reach out to sites like yours who are passionate about helping survivors, and offer some additional information you might like to add to one of your pages:

Additionally, I’d love to write something for your blog on how to help abuse survivors feel safer in their own homes. Is that something you’re willing to consider? For what it’s worth, I won’t charge you for it.

In either case, thanks again for your activism, and I hope all of this helps in some small way.

Thank you,
