Sister Cristina Scuccia, who won The Voice of Italy in June of this year has recently been signed with Universal. This Italian Ursuline nun's debut first track from her upcoming self-titled album is a cover of Madonna's 1984 classic "Like a Virgin." This slowed-down version has a very different feel from the original, that perhaps brings more meaning to the lyrics for the listener. I personally can't help, but think back to Whoopi Goldberg's Sister Act films and the reworked songs they featured when I watch Sister Cristina's latest music video.
